Whenever I am planning on going to a music festival I’ve never been so I tend to check out youtube reviews, I also find it entertaining to look at famous YouTubers opinions on festivals I’ve attended. Youtube reviews can range from someone reviewing their favorite sets, what they wore, a storytime, or the all-around experience of the festival.

Emma Chamberlain is a 17-year-old youtube from the Bay Area in California. She is one of my favorite YouTubers to watch because she’s from the same area as me and we are around the same age, so it’s easy for me to relate to her. She has made two videos regarding her first time at Coachella; How to Prepare for Coachella and The Truth About Coachella. I really liked these two videos of her because, in the first one, she discusses everything she did to prepare. I actually went to Coachella for the first time that same year so it was interesting to see how her preparation differed from mine, and what I could have done differently. In the second video she made, she talks about her experience at Coachella and how she wasn’t all that impressed. I completely related to this, I even wrote about this same opinion in my first blog. It was incredibly interesting to see how someone like her, who had her entire trip paid for and could have had a better experience than me, didn’t.

Another reason why I like to watch these reviews is that it’s interesting to hear peoples stories about what happened to them while at the festival. A YouTuber Mia Luv posted a storytime video on her meeting some of her favorite artists at an LA music festival Rolling Loud. One of my favorite benefits about music festivals is that you can see famous people around the festival grounds.
